Wedding Makeup

At our first meeting, I will carry out a consultation and discuss your current skin care routine, your likes and dislikes, all aspects of your wedding scheme especially your dress and preferred hairstyle and colour scheme. The first consultation will take about 2 hours.

I will then apply your make up in a style and colour scheme agreed and if required try several options until your are completed happy with the outcome. I am happy to carry out additional trials if required.(at no extra cost)

If you would like me to apply makeup for any additional members of the wedding party, this can either be carried out at the same time or additional trials may be required.
I feel that everyone involved in a wedding always wants to feel comfortable with how they look without taking anything away from you

Once we have agreed your final look I will take details of timings on the wedding day and make a record of all we have discussed.
I use Mac Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, Nars, Models Prefer Cosmetics, Brenda Christian, Laura Geller amongst many others.

I am pleased to announce that I also provide an airbrush makeup via the Dinair system. Airbrush makeup, especially foundation is excellent for photographs and digital media. It is favoured by many celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Catherine Zeta Jones for its’ flawless finish.
The advantages of using airbrush makeup are that it is ultra sheer and lightweight, long lasting, rub and water resistant. It will not block your pores and is great for minimising fine lines and wrinkles as well as giving the most flawless of finishes.

On the Day

My aim is to make you feel as beautiful for the entire day but nothing beats that natural bridal glow that comes from someone who is so excited to marry their loved one. (If they sold it, it would be priceless)

I will arrive at an agreed time and venue and have been known to be a calming influence on the big day, If I am providing makeup for bridesmaids or mother of bride I will apply their makeup first. This gives them time to get changed and be ready to assist you getting ready.

I like to have at least an hour with you the bride to apply your make up with plenty of time to check that your are happy every step of the way and being last means your makeup will be fresh when you walk down the aisle.

You can then have your bridesmaid help you dress and I will then add any finishing touches (the last thing you want is lipstick on your dress when putting it on) therefore I will apply you lipstick at the very end.

To keep you looking fresh all day I will provide you with blotting sheets (the case is the size of a credit card so can be put into a pocket or small bag) to remove any shine during the remainder of the day and lipstick/lipgloss (or your own if you prefer)
